We’re growing the energy talent of the future

Two promising youngsters will be showcasing their talent at Archer Knight this summer.

As part of the company’s internship programme, Cameron Kerr and Robert Gillespie are joining the company this July and will be working closely with the company on our market intelligence software and client research.

Cameron, a former student at Kemnay Academy in Aberdeenshire, is due to study Physics at Strathclyde University later this year. As News Intern, he will be focused on day-to-day support for operations of Flowline, Archer Knight’s software-as-a-service platform which is part of their AMi subscription package. Cameron’s previous experience of the energy industry includes taking a lead role in a STEM project sponsored by Chinese energy giant CNOOC, focusing on the potential electrification of offshore facilities.

Robert, a former student at Robert Gordon’s College is a second-year economics student at the University of Glasgow and joins the team as Market Intelligence Intern. His role will include providing ad-hoc support to the market intelligence team on client-research projects.

The pair were appointed to the paid internship positions after passing interviews last month.

It was a very strong field of candidates, every single person who interviewed was of a really high standard and I sincerely hope they all manage to secure placements elsewhere in the industry.
