M&A - Case Study 3

We were appointed exclusive advisors to Aqueos Corporation in 2021 for its full sales and purchase agreement (SPA) transaction. The end result was its acquisition by Michels Corporation, a Wisconsin-based construction firm with a multi-billion-dollar turnover.
With the process taking around six months from selection to takeover, we completed the following:

  • Market assessment
  • Financial model construction
  • Collation, evaluation, and selection of buyer list
  • Comparable analysis
  • Creation of teaser
  • Creation of confidential information memorandum
  • Potential buyer engagement
  • Potential buyer review and selection
  • Set up and management of virtual data room
  • Liaise with third party support function – financial, legal, insurance and asset valuation
  • Coordinate due diligence process
  • Transaction completion and transition support
.….. we appreciate the support and hard work provided by AK during this project. We could not have done it without your help – such a fantastic result for all shareholders.
